Revis Out, Roster Moves

Rhona Wise APThe news we all feared was confirmed by the New York Jets earlier today, Darrelle Revis will miss the rest of season with a torn ACL (left Knee), Revis sustained the injury towards the end of the third quarter during the Jets 23-20 overtime victory over division rival Miami Dolphins.

Is it a major blow when you lose a great player like Darrelle Revis? Of course, absolutely it is,

I know the way Darrelle is that this is a guy who’s as competitive as it gets, and I don’t think there’s any doubt that he’s going to come back strong from it (Rex Ryan)

The Jets also announced a flurry of roster moves today, once again Marcus Dixon finds himself waived by the team along with CB Donnie Fletcher and OT Dennis Landolt. As expected the Jets re-signed OLB Bryan Thomas along with WR Patrick Turner.
