Jets, Steelers: Fines For Hits
/Image via APHard hitting safety LaRon Landry has been fined $15,750 by the league for the horse-collar tackle on Steelers Aaron Brown during Sundays defeat (Landry is expected to appeal against the fine).
I'm not trying to injure a guy, and not trying to play dirty, I'm just trying to make a play.
Steelers linebacker Lawerence Timmons has also been dealt a $21,000 fine the a helmet to helmet hit on Mark Sanchez that happened earlier during the game. Sanchez then went on to complete just 6 of his next 22 attempts (Do you think that hit affected Sanchez's game?).
