Jets Add Depth At OT
/Stephon Hayer Image via (AP)It would appear that the Jets have clearly taken onboard the failings and lack of depth within key areas of the team as they added another two pieces to the puzzle yesterday.
While many of us were left having sleepless nights at the thought of Wayne Hunter and Vladimir Ducasse battling it out at camp for the starting job at RT, we can sleep a little easier as the Jets announced the signings of OT Stephon Feyer and Ray Willis.
Heyer (6ft 6" 330lbs) was signed by the Redskins (2007) as an undrafted free agent. He started 33 games in 3 years. Heyer started 12 games in 2011 (2 for the Raiders).
Willis (6ft 6" 304lbs) was drafted by the Seahawks (4th round) during the 2005 draft. Willis spent the next 6 years with the Seahawks, making 49 appearances, 26 of which came as a starter.
